How to Keep Unused Glow Toys Longer
Have you wondered before how long your glow sticks will last? The old trick is to slow the chemical reaction within the glow product by freezing it. But, some people have asked another question: how long will the unused glow toy last in the package? Did you know that studies have shown that if the original outer foil wrapper has not been damaged or the product removed from the wrapper, the products have a shelf life of one to four years, depending on the product. All industrial glow light sticks are expiration date stamped. Some novelty products are also date stamped.
Keep this in mind when you're purchasing the high-quality products at PremierGlow.com

You just cracked your favorite glow light or glow necklace when it dawns on you--how on earth do these things really work? Light sticks and other glow items generate light when two chemical compounds are mixed together in a process called chemiluminescense. This process converts energy directly to light without heat, flame or spark. To keep the reaction from occurring prematurely, the two compounds are kept separate by storing one in a very thin capsule, which is broken by flexing or bending the product tube.

We get hundreds of phone calls from customers who ask us whats the difference between premium and standard glow necklaces (sticks). I am sure from researching all the different glow companies you have found several ranges of prices from cheap to expensive.
There are a few key elements that are used in manufacturing glow sticks that make up the cost.
Patents: Who would of thought glow sticks have a patent? It's true, Omni-Glow many years ago patented the dye for the color red. Patenting the color red was very smart. By patenting the color red Omni-Glow was able to patent blue, purple, pink, and orange. Remember art class in high school, what colors are needed to make purple? Red and blue.
Plastic: Many people don't realize that the grade of plastic used effects the amount of glow given off. Many Chinese companies use three and four times recycled plastic. While recycling for the environment is great, heavily recycled plastic creates a more clouded plastic inhibiting the brightness.
Glass: The glass used inside glow products, especially glow necklaces is very important. Lower grade products tend to use thinner glass, which is fine, but you will notice the problems this causes when the glow necklaces only partially glow. When glow necklaces or sticks do not activate its because the glass has broken during transit a direct result of very thin glass.
What grade glow sticks does Premier Glow carry? We carry premium glow sticks and necklaces. Only virgin plastic is used in the manufacturing process, thick glass, and patented chemical dyes. Premier Glow uses the premium color red, so all our glow sticks emit only the true natural colors. We DO NOT use any types of colored or dyed plastic to circumvent the patent on the color red. When sales matter only settle for the best!

How to Play Night Golf
The days are getting shorter which means less tee time. But fear not fellow golfers, night golf will keep your appetite fulfilled. Wait, did you say night golf?! You heard right, the latest craze on the course is golf played at night. But how you ask?! It's one of the most unique versions of the sport.
So what does night golf entail? Good question, quite simply, it's no different than regular golf, but you play in the dark (obviously). Night golf is perhaps misleading since in many places around the world nighttime is still day time. What you need for night golf is the darkness that comes with the night and strategically placed glow sticks to help you see.
You may not think the sticks are bright enough but look to the left for an actual shot of the hole and the glow golf ball used in night golf events. Read on for tips on how to set up your own course!
